This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for DataExtract subscriptions and points top-up packs. All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay.
DataExtract is a digital, usage-based service. Each processed document immediately consumes points and incurs real third-party AI costs on our side. Points and the processing they pay for are therefore consumable digital goods.
We will review refund requests in good faith and may issue a full or partial refund where:
Points already consumed on processing are not refundable, since the underlying AI costs have been incurred. Note that if a job fails on our side, the points for that job are automatically refunded to your balance — no request needed.
Email support@dataextract.net from your account email with your order/ payment reference and the reason. We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Razorpay, typically within 5–7 business days (timing depends on your bank/card issuer).
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute.
