Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DataExtract ("we", "us", "our"), an online optical character recognition (OCR) and document-data-extraction service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

DataExtract lets you upload images and documents and returns extracted text, tables and structured data, with optional exports (PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, JSON) and an API for programmatic access. Features and limits may change over time as we improve the product.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials and API keys secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account, including API usage and the points it consumes.
• You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement in your jurisdiction.

3. Points, plans and payment

• The service runs on a points system. Each document you process consumes points based on the options you select (engine, table refinement, deep scan, visual replica, etc.).
• Plans grant a monthly points allowance; one-time top-up packs add non-expiring points.
• Prices may be displayed in your local currency for convenience, but all payments are charged in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay at checkout.
• You authorise us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the plan or pack you purchase.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not have the legal right to process.
• Use the service to violate any law, infringe intellectual property, or process content that is unlawful, abusive, or harmful.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Resell or redistribute the service except as expressly permitted (e.g. via your own application using your API key, where you remain responsible for end-user activity).

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the documents you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the service. We process uploads through third-party AI providers (see our Privacy Policy). Original uploads are deleted from our servers after processing; extracted text and a small preview thumbnail are retained in your library until you delete them.

6. Accuracy disclaimer

OCR and AI extraction are not perfect, especially on handwriting, low-quality scans, or complex layouts. Output is provided "as is" and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying results before relying on them, particularly for financial, legal, medical, or compliance purposes.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrimeNexa Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, unused subscription points expire; non-expiring top-up points are governed by our Refund Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the service or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
